All submissions to the International Kids' Space and Kids' Space Connection World Wide Web sites are carefully monitored by our editors to ensure that they meet our strict guidelines. Nothing is "automatically" posted to our websites. In processing submissions, Kids' Space editors will remove before publication personal information, such as postal addresses, physical descriptions, last names, or any other information that that may possibly attract unwanted attention.

Information submitted by children is used solely for constructing and developing the International Kids' Space and Kids' Space Connection Websites. We do not release any submitted information to other organizations, companies, groups, or individuals. Submitted information is not used for any form of marketing or solicitation.

Submitted information may be removed from publication by sending a removal request. Please check contact addresses for each Website section.

Kids' Space collects and stores, for statistical purposes, only the following information from each visitor to the Kids' Space Websites: The name of the domain from which the visitor accesses the Internet (for example, mindspring.com if the visitor is connecting from a Mindspring account, or umich.edu if the visitor is connecting from an account at the University of Michigan), the date and time of access, and the Internet address of the Website from which the visitor was linked directly to the Kids' Space sites.

Kids' Space does not use cookies at any of the Kids' Space sites. Kids' Space does not permit banners or other advertisements to be used at any of the Kids' Space sites, in order to insure the privacy of visitors.

Kids' Space does not sell or otherwise share any information about site visitors with any third parties, other than providing a general, non-personally identifiable listing of raw access statistics and a summary of the countries from which the Kids' Space sites have been visited.

Upon verification of identity, Kids' Space will provide a summary of submitted information about a participant to that participant's adult caretaker.
